Freida Pinto's kiss takes co-host by storm

New Delhi: ‘Slumdog’ actress Freida Pinto is no doubt a heartthrob for many young hearts. She took her fans by surprise all of a sudden when she shared a kiss with television show host Kathie Lee Gifford. However, the lip smearing event was all for a good cause. ‘The Today Show’ aired on Wednesday showed the beautiful Pinto take the Twizzler charity challenge in support of raising funds and awareness for Autism.

The actress is currently busy promoting her upcoming movie ‘Desert Dancer’ for which she took intense dance lessons for more than a year.

The movie is based on Afshin Ghaffarian, who risked his life for his dream to become a dancer despite a nationwide dancing ban in Iran. The film also stars Reece Ritchie, Nazanin Boniadi, Tom Cullen, and others.

দোহা: জঙ্গি হামলা হল কাতারের মার্কিন দূতাবাসের উপর৷ প্রেস টিভি সূত্রে খবর, দূতাবাসের সামনে মোতায়েন থাকা এক নিরাপত্তা কর্মীকে লক্ষ্য করে গুলি চালায় একদল দুষ্কৃতী৷গুলির আঘাতে গুরুতর ভাবে জখম হয়েছেন তিনি৷ ঘটনার পর থেকেই দূতাবাসের সামনে নিরাপত্তা বেশ কয়েকগুন বাড়িয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে৷ পাশাপাশি দূতাবাসের সামনে দিয়ে যাওয়া প্রত্যেক পথচারীরর উপর নজর রাখছেন নিরাপত্তা কর্মীরা৷ সন্দেহজনক মনে হলেই জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করছেন তাঁরা৷

বর্তমানে কাতারে রাজনৈতিক অস্থিরতা চলছে৷ যদিও কাতার সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে দাবি করা হয়েছে, এই ঘটনার সঙ্গে রাজনৈতিক অস্থিরতার কোনও সম্পর্ক নেই৷

অন্যদিকে মার্কিন দূতাবাসের পক্ষ থেকে দাবি করা হয়েছে, ইয়েমেনে জঙ্গি দমনে আরবকে সমর্থনের ফলেই এই হামলার ঘটনা ঘটেছে৷

Mumbai: After a million hearts, Sunny Leone has been the ruling factor in Youtube as well. Sunny has left behind the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone, with her musical thriller ‘Ek Paheli Leela’. The film has topped the list of YouTube’s most viewed Bollywood movie trailers in the first quarter of 2015.

The trailer of Ek Paheli Leela, which released two months ago, received more than a crore views on the video-sharing site between January and March 2015, read a statement. Gulshan Devaiah and Radhika Apte-starrer adult comedy Hunterrr stood second, followed by Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming crime drama Bombay Velvet.

Big B and Dhanush’s Shamitabh and Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dum Laga Ke Haisha rounded up the top five at fourth and fifth places, respectively.

The sixth spot went to Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer crime thriller ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’, leaving behind Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Mr. X’ and Akshay’s ‘Gabbar Is Back’ at the seventh and eighth places, respectively.

Multi-starrer comedy drama film ‘Piku’ and ‘Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend’ rounded off the list at the ninth and tenth spots, respectively.
