Wounded Mamata Can’t Refute Narada Sting: Siddartha Nath Singh


Kolkata: BJP leader Siddartha Nath Singh on Thursday launched a scathing attack on Mamata Banerjee after the Ethicks Committee of Lok Sabha served notice to five TMC legislators over the Narada sting.

“Mamata Banerjee is wounded as the Ethics Committee has find prima facie truth in the Narada footage.” said Mr. Singh addressing the media in Kolkata.

He further added, “As the ethics committee has find truth in the footage, Mamata is unable to defend the culprits.”

The Lok Sabha Ethics Committee had earlier the day served notice to five TMC legislators Subhendu Adhikary, Kakoli Ghoshdastidar, Sultan Ahmed, Saugata Roy, Prasun Banerjee. the committee has asked them to submit their reply in writing.

All the TMC legislators who have been served notice have been captured in video taking huge sum of money promising undue favour.

On the other hand the Election Commission has served showcause notice to Mamata Bannerjee and accused her of violating the model code of conduct.
