Five food items which keeps brain healthy

Eating is not enough for good health. The Nutrients are very necessary for the brain. US scientists have discovered that a handful of walnuts a day improve the brain.  Adults who ate 13g of walnuts every day performed significantly better on cognitive tests than those who didn’t, and so walnuts have been added to the growing list of foods for geniuses.
Let’s see how the other foods help to strengthen the brain.
Blueberries
A study claims that the Blueberries don’t simply improve the memory, they actually reverse memory loss.
They improve the short-term memory and improve balance and co-ordination.

Salmon
Salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are crucial for a healthy diet and offers a sizeable portion of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).

Avocado
The avocados contain extremely healthy unsaturated fats, which keeps the cell membranes flexible. The monounsaturated fatty acid protect nerve cells in the brain and improve the brain’s muscle strength.they help in healthy blood flow and lower the blood pressure and help brain to function to its fullest capacity.
Broccoli
Vitamin K in Broccoli helps to strengthen cognitive abilities while choline improves the memory. It also includes folic acid which helps in warding off Alzheimer’s disease.
Dark Chocolate
Cocoa can improve verbal fluency and cognitive function in elderly people. It also improves the blood flow to the brain.

Kolkata: The image was electrifying at the PC Chandra Lawns at Kolkata. Starting from electrifying Dhol Players to soul stirring folk performances and exclusive Bhaang counters, people engaged themselves in the stunning performance by DJ Harish and complimentary Thandai. The celebration was in the form of the Spanish Tomatina style. The Mad rain dance recreated the sense of madness in the lawns among the people.

Laketown to Lake gardens, Howrah to Hatibagan, Kasba to Kankurgachi, Salt Lake to Sealdah, the scene is almosantiniketanst the same at all the places. The spray paints and the pichkaris are out in the open. People of all ages are making the full utilization of this day.The footfall has also increased at the special and the tourist places. People are coming in huge number to spend the weekend along with the festivity. Shantiniketan has laid the colours to everyone in the tunes of Rabindranath Tagore. The entertaining lawns of the city are playing the perfect host to the celebs and the common people for the celebration of the festival. The image of celebration was spotted in other states also. Keeping aside the caste and creed, smearing of colours were seen among the jawans at the borders. The Home Minsiter, Rajnath Singh was also seen playing Holi.

International Women’s Day is as much about men celebrating the occasion as it is about woman making it a special day for them. A woman is the epitome of tenderness, care and wisdom. In different regions the range of celebration varies from general celebration of respect, appreciation to love towards all women. The celebration will mean acknowledging not only her invisible strength, but also to stand against all odds. For every role they play to make lives full of perfect. Surely, God’s own creation deserves a day on their name, to let her proud, loved and enhance confidence. This is a day which some people celebrate by wearing purple ribbons.
Malala Yousafzai: She was shot in the head by Taliban for speaking out about girls needing Education. The youngest person to win Nobel Peace prize. A symbol of Woman’s strength.
Pooja Thakur: The wing commander, who hailed from Rajasthan. She escorted Obama for the inspection of the tri-service guard of honour. Thakur was seen giving commands falllowed by 21-gun salute.
Chanda Gayan: She was a mountaineer, explorer, teacher of self-defence. She was the best-  known for being first civilian woman from the Indian state of West Bengal to climb the summit of Everest. She never set back for home, died in the avalanche.
Kalpana Chawla: She was the first Indian-American astronaut, and first Indian Woman in space. Chawla was one of the seven members killed in Space Shuttle Columbia disaster.
Mary Kom: Her full name is like a Tongue-twister. She is none other than five-time world Boxing Campion. The only woman boxer to have won a medal in each six world championships. She is Mangte Chungneijang ‘Magnificent’ Mary Kom a.k.a MC. Kom.
Saina Nehwal: The first Indian badminton play who attended the best ranking of 2 by BWF (Badminton World Federation). The first Indian to win a super series. Recently, Saina defeated Spain’s Caroline Marin in 2015 India Open Grand Pix Gold.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: She is cited in the world as the ‘most beautiful woman in the world.’ The Ravishing beauty is never fragile onscreen. Ash wowed the Cannes and swept our feet with her red pout and engorging style.
Aparna Sen: one of the protagonists from Satyajit Ray ‘Teen Kanya’ (Three Daughter). She made her film debut at a very early age of 15. Winner of three National Film Awards and Nine International film festival award.
They are the invisible emblem of Strength and on this very special day, some attention is obviously great to give to these beautiful creations of Human race. We salute them.
