Kolkata: TMC Intellectuals Subodh Sarkar, Abhirup Sarkar, Amio Chaudhury, Nrisingha Prasad Bhaduri, Pratul
Mukhopadhyay went to the Election Commission today to speak on behalf of
Trinamul Congress .
After their meeting with the CEO of the commission they said
that such a terror never even happened during their playtime in their school
days. According to them the commission is strict with TMC but is at ease with
the other political parties. They have alleged that the CM has been
unnecessarily show caused. They have questioned such a decision of the
commission. They have also added that the TMC people are falling under the
terror of the commission. The complaint lodged against TMC in the commission is
baseless and has been just done to taint the government. But they did not
comment on issues such as the Narada sting operation and about controversial
TMC leader from Birbhum Anubrata Mandal.
Shankha Ghosh, Supreme court’s former judge Ashok
Gangopadhyay, actor Kaushik Sen and many other such personalities had visited
the commission to lodge complaint against the government. They demanded for an
impartial and peaceful election.
