Los Angeles: April 16 marks the 127th birthday anniversary of Late English Comic Actor and Filmmaker Charlie Chaplin. Chaplin was born in 1889 and died in Switzerland at age 88 in 1977. He is considered one of the most important figures in film history, with a career spanning more than75 years.
