Kolkata: A major fire broke out today in Belgachia at Howrah. It broke out in a dumping ground. It is being suspected that the fire is likely to spread in the adjoining areas soon due to the presence of flammable items. 2 engines of the fire brigade have arrived. More are yet to arrive at the place. The sky is filled with black smoke, from the fire, amidst such intense heat. It has already lead to the breathing problems of many. The local authorities have requested the residents to leave the place for some time for safety.
