Srinagar: In
wake of protests triggered by the death of four people over 'molestation' of a
girl allegedly by a soldier in Handwara town of Jammu and Kashmir, restrictions
continue to be imposed in parts of Srinagar.
The
separatist leaders have called for protests after the regular Friday prayers.
However, no
Friday prayers are being permitted today in order to maintain the law and order
situation.
Restrictions
have been imposed in downtown Srinagar where every Friday stone pelting
incidents happen.
Meanwhile,
curfew continues to be imposed in Handwara district where an uneasy calm
prevails, as the police continue to place restrictions in several parts. ANI
